Today, Firebird, Inc., a U.S.-based AI cloud and infrastructure company, announced a $500 million investment in Armenia as part of a multi-billion-dollar initiative to establish high-capacity AI supercomputing infrastructure in the region.
This initiative will be supported by Dell Technologies, which will provide Dell PowerEdge high-performance AI servers and NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs to power Firebird’s advanced AI cluster.
Phase one of the deployment is scheduled to go online in the first half of 2026, according to Firebird’s press release, and positions Armenia as a regional hub for AI innovation across sectors with an emphasis on the life sciences, robotics and space sectors.
